About
JournalHub searches PubMed, translates abstracts into Russian and keeps your bookmarks.
How to use it
- Search in English — PubMed matches English terms best. Authors go as “Surname Initials”: Smith J.
- Advanced search adds journal, publication years, sorting and an “only with abstract” filter.
- The article page has the abstract, its Russian translation, PubMed and DOI links and a citation in BibTeX, RIS or APA.
- Bookmarks, tags and categories are saved in this browser. BibTeX and RIS exports open in Zotero, Mendeley and EndNote.
Data and translation
Articles, abstracts and metadata come from PubMed via NCBI E-utilities. JournalHub keeps no copy of the database: queries go to PubMed and answers are cached for a day.
Abstracts are machine-translated (DeepL). It helps to see quickly what a paper is about, but check the original before citing or drawing conclusions.
Privacy
There is no sign-up. Bookmarks never leave your browser (localStorage). Clearing site data removes them, so export to JSON now and then.
To keep the service available to everyone, searches and translations per address are limited: 30 searches and 20 translations a minute.
